Last weekend, Mark and I traveled down to Pohang to hang out with the family. A lot of driving was involved, which brought back memories of our six-week family road trip in 2010. On Friday, we took a bus from Seoul to Pohang, which took about 5.5 hours. On Saturday morning, we jumped into a 12-passenger van and drove to Andong for the day, which was a beautiful town of rice fields and traditional homes. We were told the drive would be 1.5 hours each way, but it turned out to be about 4 hours each way. Then, the following day, we jumped back into the van and returned to Seoul with the family...
Like I said, lots of driving but also lots of family bonding.
