Thanksgiving 2012

11.29.2012

For the first time in three years, we were able to spend Thanksgiving with family. Since Mark works at an international school, he gets American holidays off, so on Thursday, we headed down to Pohang for the weekend. When we arrived, we were greeted with a steak dinner. Since then, we never stopped eating. For breakfast, mom made biscuits and gravy with bacon. For dinner, we had rich, heavy Thanksgiving food. For lunch, we had leftovers. And as if that wasn't enough, we ate ice cream and Tim Tam cookies in between meals.

We had so much fun. Not only was it extremely relaxing, but we also got to explore the beautiful campus of Handong University. We went hiking, ran around the track, looked at the kids' forts, and came upon a beautiful lake. It almost felt like we were in Mammoth, CA again.

My husband is so dreamy <3

[When we first saw this, we thought it was saying that this was the university of the Handong-God.
We soon realized it was supposed to be: Handong is God's university. Phew.]

And here's a short video I made of our little vacation:

'Twas my favorite Thanksgiving so far. I'm not sure if I'll be able to spend the holidays away from family again.

Until next time...
